Hello, and welcome to Carmilo stud, we are a small family run stud and we aim to breed quality standard Shetlands with top quality temperament, the stud that was founded by my grandmother in 1985 with only two mares who produced quality stock including 'Carmilo Magician' she introduced her daughter a few years later where they decided to breed miniature Shetlands too, but decided that standards were where prospects laid, where we aim to breed and sell quality, outstanding-natured, ponies that excel in the show ring. We also enjoy showing mountain and moorland breeds

We now aim to breed up to height standard Shetland ponies with excellent  temperament, quality conformation, and top competition ponies with stock normally for sale.
